Nature's Palette: Lodge & Learn
Design your weekend getaway with this art-themed, forestry-focused retreat. Enjoy summer-camp style lodging and included meals while you explore trails in the Cradle of Forestry, take a Bob Ross painting or nature photography class, spruce-up your native trees know-how, and much more. And, don’t forget to take a minute to appreciate the fall colors. Planned sessions include: Seeing Shapes for Tree ID Lecture: The New Urban Treescape Field Trip: Historic Nursery & CCC Museum Tour Fall Colors Bob Ross Painting Classes Field Trip: Forest Bathing Michigan Mushrooms Class Nature photography tips and field trip And More! You will select specific classes and activities when you register. Check-in begins at 3 p.m. on October 21, and dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Please plan on arriving no later than 5:15p.m. Reservations are accepted via the online registration form. Fees/Admission
The cost is $450 to register as a single or share a room with a friend and it becomes $430/person. This fee includes 6 activity sessions or classes, 2 nights of lodging, 6 meals, and use of our recreation facilities (campfire rings, beach access, trail access, game room.) The RAM Center provides linens, pillows, and towels.
